Ousted Red Bull Racing driver Daniil Kvyat believes he deserves to stay with Toro Rosso next season as he is currently outperforming the car. The Russian was demoted to Toro Rosso earlier this season and struggled to find form after losing his Red Bull seat to Max Verstappen. Kvyat has finished ahead of team-mate Carlos Sainz Jr in the last four races. “I think I am outperforming the car at the moment,” said Kvyat. “If this is not enough [to retain his seat for 2017] I don’t know what is.”
