HHC Motorsport boss Charlie Kemp wins on his single-seater debut

HHC Motorsport boss Charlie Kemp had a victorious first single-seater race on his Historic Formula Ford 2000 debut at Silverstone.

Although Kemp has raced extensively in sports cars and has tested current British Formula 3 cars for the team, he had never raced a singleseater until entering his Reynard SF79.

“We finally managed to find a spare weekend,” said Kemp, who has run cars in Ginetta and BRDC British F3 this season. “I’ve not raced anything for three years, but the FF2000S are great fun,” said the former TVR Tuscan racer. After winning the opening race, he was edged to second place in the later race by the Osella of Tom White.
