Last remaining Brabham BT37 set for return

-

The sole surviving Brabham BT37 could race again in 2017 after being added to the stable of cars of Jamie Constable.

Chassis BT37/02 was one of two Formula 1 cars built for the 1972 season and was debuted at the Belgian Grand Prix by Carlos Reutemann. It was also raced by Graham Hill, Andrea de Adamich and John Watson before being used by Geoff Rollason in the British Hillclimb Championship in 1974 and ’75.

Chassis 01 had its final race at the 1973 Spanish Grand Prix with de Adamich at the wheel and was later written off.

Constable already has an ex-alan Jones Shadow DN8 and Graham Hill’s Embassy Lola.
