Last re­main­ing Brab­ham BT37 set for re­turn

The sole sur­viv­ing Brab­ham BT37 could race again in 2017 after be­ing added to the sta­ble of cars of Jamie Con­sta­ble.

Chas­sis BT37/02 was one of two For­mula 1 cars built for the 1972 sea­son and was de­buted at the Bel­gian Grand Prix by Car­los Reute­mann. It was also raced by Gra­ham Hill, An­drea de Adamich and John Wat­son be­fore be­ing used by Ge­off Rollason in the Bri­tish Hill­climb Cham­pi­onship in 1974 and ’75.

Chas­sis 01 had its fi­nal race at the 1973 Span­ish Grand Prix with de Adamich at the wheel and was later writ­ten off.

Con­sta­ble al­ready has an ex-alan Jones Shadow DN8 and Gra­ham Hill’s Em­bassy Lola.

The Brab­ham BT37 is a rar­ity
