Anglesey Winter meet to have Fvee
The Anglesey Winter Race Day will cater for Formula Vee cars for the first time as an expansion of its single-seater grid.
The November 20 event traditionally holds an openinvitation Formula Ford 1600 race each year, but for this season will include a class for Formula Vee machinery also.
“We wanted to expand the single-seater category and Fvee and FF1600 are similarly matched,” said Anglesey Circuit manager Andrew Crighton. “The lap times are only about a second apart.
“We have a few cars entered already, and we’re close to Ireland where Fvee is thriving, and we have the Global Lights and ASK Supercars already on the bill.”
The meeting, which is run by the BRSCC, also holds races for sports/ saloons, Caterham-type sports cars, Global Lights, ASK Supercars and a twodriver enduro.
