Bottas’ bump

Williams’ Valtteri Bottas was left on the sidelines after striking a bump in the road on the Abu Dhabi circuit, similar to Jenson Button. “It was a particular bump which looks like it triggered it,” said chief technical officer Pat Symonds. “Abu Dhabi is quite bumpy, but it should be able to handle it quite easily. We think it’s probably similar to what happened in America in 2015, but we won’t know until we strip everything.”
