“The Toyota is another one but it’s tough to pick a single car because of all the different Celicas.
“Gt-four was the first one, Gt-four 165. It was OK but not very good, not so reliable. But 185 was ready and was reliable. 205 was a bit too big and complicated for the rallies, we should have had the Corolla at that time, we would have won many things. But that was delayed. But the Corolla was delayed because of the turbo problem we had in 1995. It’s a pity as that could have been really good. But it wasn’t that bad for me because I got the chance to drive for Ford (1997-1998) and for Subaru (1999-2000), which was a really good time. I don’t want to change a day from those days. I’ve been lucky to drive the best cars in the world.”
