Toro overtime

-

Toro Rosso is planning to have staff running 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the lead up to the first pre-season test next month. The new rules have mandated a huge redesign for all teams on the grid, meaning some may battle to be ready in time for the season-opener in Australia in March. Testing starts at Barcelona on February 27. “From the production side, we will have to work 24/7 for a period,” said team head Franz Tost. “From the middle of January through to the middle of February, we will run three shifts per day. It’s a very short period because it’s quite cost intensive.”
