Excelr8 to enter Ginetta Junior and host competition

Successful Mini Challenge squad Excelr8 Motorsport will expand into Ginetta Junior this season and will host a driver competition day next month for one teenage racer to win a subsidised drive with the team.

Excelr8 has hired Blyton Park on February 10 for the competition day to win £20,000 towards a full season arrive and drive package. The participants will receive tuition from former Renault UK Clio Cup champion Phil Glew before competing for the prize.

“We have built Excelr8 on the premise of winning,” said Excelr8 owner Justina Williams. “Our involvement in the Ginetta Juniors will be no different, though we are not unrealistic and understand that there will be a lot for us to learn.”
