De­signer Rey­nard of­fered race out­ings in for­mer ti­tle-win­ning For­mula Ford 2000 car

Adrian Rey­nard will re­turn to For­mula Ford 2000 this year in the car in which he won the 1979 EFDA Euroseries ti­tle.

Rey­nard is the driv­ing force be­hind his epony­mous racing car mar­que that has won races from For­mula Ford 1600 to Indy­car and For­mula 1, and re­cently re­turned to a de­sign­ing role as part of Ginetta’s new LMP1 sportscar project.

The 65-year-old, who is racing an FF1600 at Hamp­ton Downs in One driver from this year’s Leg­ends Cars Cham­pi­onship will get a test in a Handy Motorsport Toy­ota Aven­sis Bri­tish Tour­ing Car as part of a new prize pack­age for 2017.

The se­ries has linked up with for­mer Leg­ends racer Si­mon Belcher, who runs Handy Motorsport’s BTCC car, which is raced by Rob Austin.
