Stars line up for Stoneleigh show
Finnish rally aces Ari Vatanen and Markku Alen will drive Group B rally cars on the live action special stage at Race Retro on Saturday February 25.
To celebrate the 15th edition of the international historic motorsport show at Stoneleigh Park, the event organisers have pulled off a major coup by attracting two of the leading rally drivers of a generation.
Vatanen will be on hand on Saturday and Sunday, while Alen will attend the show on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Both are due to drive on the demonstration special stage on Saturday.
“I am delighted to be invited and look forward to driving on the rally stage with my old friend Ari,” said Alen. “It will be a great weekend.”
Vatanen, who attended the 2015 show, said: “I am very much looking forward to seeing all the rally fans over the weekend. To get to drive these fantastic cars again is an honour and I can’t wait!”
