Green makes Supercup switch to Century
Ginetta GT4 Supercup regular Ben Green will join Century Motorsport in the series this year.
The 18-year-old from Waltham Abbey joins Nathan Freke’s team having run under his own Super Green Racing banner last season, having stepped up from the Junior championship. He finished eighth in the GT4 Supercup points last season, scoring three podium finishes.
“Ben is a really good prospect and has all the ingredients there to be a frontrunner,” said Freke. “We began talking with him midseason last year and he’s seen the benefit of working with us.
“Running as a privateer in a championship like the Supercup is very tough, and he was making mistakes that we’d made ourselves a few years ago and learned from. He’ll benefit for having a sorted car this year and he’ll be fighting for podiums and reversed grid race wins.”
