Cholmondeley off

The 2017 edition of Cholmondeley Power and Speed has been cancelled. The speed event in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire was set for June 9-11 but, in a statement on the event website, the promoters said that the 2017 edition will not be staged while plans are made for the longer term shape of the event. Lack of major commercial backing is a key factor.
