2017: A tough season in the Team Dynamics Honda Civic, but two wins meant Neal finished in seventh spot in the points. 2016: The Team Dynamics driver was forced out of the final round of the season while still in the hunt for the crown when the Honda Civic man crashed out of round two and suffered concussion. 2015: Back to a Honda Civic Type R, Neal took three wins on his way to third in the standings.

2014: Team Dynamics built the whacky Honda Civic Tourer and it was a race winner, with Neal finishing eighth in the points.

2013: Fourth in the standings in his Honda Civic with four victories in the Team Dynamics-run car. 2012: Finishes second in the points behind team-mate Gordon Shedden after a dominant season for the Team Dynamics Honda Civic team. 2011: Another title-winning season, his first in a Honda Civic. Neal clinches the crown in the finale at Silverston­e with his seventh win of the season in the Team Dynamics car. 2010: After Vauxhall pulls out of the BTCC, Neal returns to Team Dynamics which is now running the factory Honda Civics. He misses out on the title to Jason Plato’s Chevrolet. 2009: Another year at Vauxhall brings one more win and he finishes fourth in the points table. 2008: Jumps ship to the factory-run Triple Eight Racing Vauxhall team, driving a Vectra alongside Fabrizio Giovanardi and Tom Onslow-cole. A win at Rockingham helps him to fifth in the standings. 2007: Team Dynamics introduces the new Honda Civic after creating its first Super 2000 car, which won at its debut meeting at Brands Hatch. Neal finishes fourth in the points table.

2006: A second title comes with the potent Integra Type R with a mammoth eight victories from the 30 races. 2005: Team Dynamics introduces the new Integra Type R and the car dominates. He takes six wins during the year to land his first outright BTCC crown. 2004: Back to Team Dynamics in a Honda Civic Type R. Neal takes three wins on his way to fifth in the points. 2003: Third in the points again with six wins in the factory-backed Arena Internatio­nal-run Honda Civic Type R. 2002: Returns to the BTCC frontline with a drive in the egg: sport Triple Eight Racing-run Vauxhall Astra. Takes three wins on his way to third in the points. 2001: A deal to drive for Peugeot fell apart after a single meeting at Brands Hatch, which left Neal on the sidelines. 2000: Wins at Brands Hatch in the last year of Super Touring aboard the Team Dynamics Nissan Primera and takes four other podiums for eighth in the standings. 1999: Victory at last! Neal wins at the second meeting of the year in the Team Dynamics Nissan Primera, and scoops £250,000 from the series organisers for becoming the first independen­t to win a race that season. 1998: Nine top 10 finishes in the Team Dynamics Nissan Primera GT on his way to 13th in the points. 1997: Swapped mid-season from a Ford Mondeo Si to a Nissan Primera EGT 1996: Switches to a Ford Mondeo Si and for a part-campaign 1995: Races a Ford Mondeo Ghia for his family-run team, now renamed Team Dynamics. Takes a best finish of fourth at Snetterton and is 21st in the standings. 1994: Joined Mazda for a factory campaign but his season is cut short by a massive accident at Silverston­e early on in the season. 1993: Second season with Rimstock Racing in a BMW 318si and 318i and takes a best finish of eighth place. 1992: Family-run Rimstock Racing BMW M3 and 318is with two top 10 finishes. Neal is 16th in the points 1991: Enters the BTCC with Pyramid Motorsport in a BMW M3 at the British Grand Prix support race, before joining BBR for a round at Oulton.
