Bates Wharf opens showroom
Second showroom opens in Swanwick
Bates Wharf Marine Sales Ltd has opened a second showroom in Swanwick. Situated opposite the entrance to Premier Marina, the building was the Southampton base for Sealine for many years but the new 308m2 premises now has offices and a workshop, as well as a heated showroom that can hold up to ten boats. Managing director Richard Bates told MBY, “I had the idea for a showroom after holding up the cover of a £100,000 Chris-craft in the rain so that a potential customer could crawl beneath it. I felt that there had to be a better way.”
