Princess 62
Princess is launching two mid-range flybridge boats this autumn, the all-new 55 at Southampton and the 62 at Cannes, its first formal launch after a brief sneak preview at the British Motor Yacht Show.
Replacing the excellent, if long-inthe-tooth 60, the 62 majors on interior space with an open-plan, light-filled saloon and three comfortable ensuite cabins. The main deck features an aft galley layout, which opens out easily on to the cockpit and allows the kitchen to serve those outside as readily as guests in the saloon.
The flybridge layout is reasonably formulaic, though the circular seating area adjacent to the helm station doubles up as a cosy alfresco drink spot and somewhere for crew to amass close to the skipper during passages. Contact See Princess website for dealers. Web: www.princessyachts.com
