Princess 40 owner John Broadhurst started his boating career in small boats
before moving up to a Princess 286 Riviera. A Fairline Targa 30 followed, and then a Princess 366 Riviera. John then bought a Princess 46 Riviera in Mallorca intending to bring it to Torquay, but was sold on Med boating after a winter there. So it stayed, and a V40 occupied his Torquay berth. Conversely, Roger Tall has spent his whole 30-year boating career in the Mediterranean, but says he finds it too hot now, and bought the Princess 40 to base more locally in Chichester.
