Motorboat & Yachting

THE EDITOR’S VIEW...

Now that the London show has died a death, this is your only chance to see such a wide range of new boats on home territory. Thankfully this year’s event looks set to be a cracker. Not only have the organisers made a real effort to create a new heart of the show in Mayflower Park, they’ve also sorted out the irritating one-way system onto and off the pontoons. But most of all, they have managed to attract a bumber crop of new boats for us all to drool over. You’ll be fighting me for first dibs looking round the all-new Fairline Targa 43 and the Princess r35 (featured in last month’s Cannes preview) but this is also your first chance to see the sunseeker Predator 50 and sealine F430 in UK waters. I’m also very excited by the appearance of two new motor catamarans — the fabulous lagoon 630 and bavaria nautitech 47. Last but not least, don’t miss the chance to see the awesome brabus shadow and the gamechanging folding balconies of the galeon 460 FLY.
