GIVI 40.5 X-Carbon helmet

Italian luggage brand GIVI has just launched its first full-face carbon helmet - the 40.5 X-Carbon. The awesome looking, lightweight lid has been designed with sport-touring in mind, and is packed full of hi-tech features, to help keep you safe out on the road.

As you’d expect for a helmet called the X-Carbon, the helmet shell is manufactured from carbon fibre, helping the helmet to weigh in at a relatively lightweight 1210 or 1250 grams (depending on size). The helmet has a hightech ventilation system, which uses an internal canalisation in the internal EPS and incorporates two rear extractors – while the inner liner is antiallergenic, removable and washable. The Italian full-face lid also includes some additional features as standard, including a flip-down sun visor, D-ring fasteners, chin guard vents, a removable nose guard, a wind deflector and an anti-scratch quickrelease visor that can accommodate a Pinlock.
