Briton Fin Kenneally grabbed an impressive win in the Winter Cup at Lonato last weekend as he continued the good form he showed at the Champions Cup.
He took the lead of the Ok-junior Final in the middle of the race and secured the win from his Ricky Flynn Motorsport team-mate Timothy Peisselon.
Logan Sargeant started from the back of the OK Final and only lasted two laps before retiring, which allowed Nicklas Nielsen to dominate. Briton Ben Hanley starred in the early stages but he ultimately finished fourth behind Lorenzo Travisanutto and Karol Basz.
For the second weekend in succession, Guy Foster was the man to beat as he took victory by the narrowest possible margin in MEC’S round of the Hewison Trophy Autotest Championship at Mondello Park. After 12 rain-soaked tests, he was just one tenth of a second ahead of Robin Lyons after leading from start to finish. The two rivals were one second apart starting the final test, and Lyons just failed to catch the Meath driver. Ten-time champion Eamonn Byrne took a close third place, with current title holder Steven Ferguson fourth after a five-second pylon penalty.
David Meeke was the master of the atrocious conditions in the Leinster Lincoln and Nolan Cup Sporting Trial, scoring a two-mark win over Enda Byrne after 12 very muddy sections near Enniskerry.

Former British Formula Renault 2.0 race winner Tamas Pal Kiss will race in the FIA European Rallycross Championship this season in an ex-team Peugeot-hansen Peugeot 208 Supercar.
The Hungarian, who won races in both GP3 and Auto GP, switched from single-seaters to rallycross last season to contest his national championship in a Skoda Fabia. He raced a Hansen-run 208 at the last round of the Euro RX series in Italy and qualified for the front row of the final, but was ruled out by a mechanical problem.
Kiss elected to buy the car, and will campaign it in Europe this season, run by the Speed Box Racing team. “I’m really excited to be able to commit to a full season of Euro RX,” he said. “We wanted the best car available and we’ve built a good relationship with the Hansen family. We decided that we would buy the car I raced in Italy and it will be run by our own team, with some technical support from the Hansen team. I would like to be on the podium a couple of times in Euro RX this year, and we have a clear target to try and win the Hungarian championship.”
