Let’s face it – the radio on Sebastianvettel’s Ferrari is permanently set towhinge FM, and that’s not Shellv-power sloshing around inside the fuel tank but a high-octane sense of entitlement. No other Formula 1 driver moans quite so much as the four-time world champion – in public at least – and that’s a sure sign of his frustration at yet another wasted year in a Ferrari team that’s getting worse rather than better.

Vettel’s moaning reached a peak at this year’s Mexican Grand Prix, where he turned the airwaves blue in the closing laps after Maxverstappen declined to leave the door open for him and decorate his path to third place with palm fronds. But he’s been quietly building up a complaint portfolio for years – remember the sulky “I’m going home” after shunting with team-mate Mark Webber in Turkey in 2010?

Still, playing ‘Vettel Bingo’ is a great way to liven up a race if the action starts to flag a bit.
