January means we’re inching ever-closer to the motorsport season starting again, with the World Rally Championship revving back into action next weekend with the Monte Carlo Rally. Whet your appetite for 2017 and catch up on everything you missed in 2016, where Sebastien Ogier sealed his third straight win in the event, with a highlights package from Motorstv (Friday, 2235-2340hrs).

Sticking with the rallying theme, BT Sport 2 then has a collection of classic moments from Rally GBS gone-by to kick off the new working week (Monday, 1415-1515hrs).

If that still hasn’t helped stave off any of your off-season withdrawal symptoms, tune into Sky Sports F1 for another chance to see the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix (Saturday, 2100- 2315hrs). It was to be Lewis Hamilton’s first win of 2016 – the first time he’d finished ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg on the Monte Carlo streets in three years – after a gripping tussle with Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo. As the wait on his new team-mate continues, who will Hamilton be battling for victory this year?

And if you can’t make it to Autosport International Show this weekend, or you simply want to relive every moment once you’ve got home, look no further than Motorstv. Their highlights programme (Monday, 2100-2205hrs) condenses all four days of motorsport into just one hour, with all the best stars, cars and action from Birmingham’s NEC.
