1 JONATHAN PALMER
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF MS V
In the 14 years since Jonathan Palmer, and his partners John Britten and Peter Ogden, took over the reins of Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell, the circuits have thrived.
It was a huge undertaking to take on the four tracks and bring them up to modern standards, standards, but but it it is is something something he achieved with his notorious attention to detail.
He dragged the tracks into a modern generation, and he has set about doing the same thing to Donington Park too, as he took over the lease for the East Midlands venue at the beginning of 2017. A successful racing driver himself, of course, Palmer set up Palmer sport in Bedford while he was still an active racer and it quickly became a nirvana for track experiences with a high level of tuition available. After taking over the tracks, Motorsport Vision has has continued continued to to expand expand and championships the UK, operate often motor with throughout racing great success. The headline of his portfolio is the BRDC British F3 Championship, a series that has filled a gap as the top-level single-seater category in this country.
The category is likely to undergo something of a rebrand over the next few months as the F3 moniker is absorbed by the world governing body, the Federation Internationale de l’automobile.
However, the MSV series will remain a lynchpin in the UK racing scene.
Palmer’s company is also responsible for the organisation and promotion of the British Superbike Championship, a series that continues to set the bar for two-wheeled racing.
