ENDUROKA TO KICK-START THE NEW MSV SEASON AT SNETTERTON

-

Motorsport Vision Racing has confirmed that its calendar will get the green light at Snetterton on August 4 with a 12-hour Enduroka event.

The one-make series for identical cars with multiple drivers will kick-start the return of racing. It will be part of a two-day meeting at the venue, and the headline race is the 12 Heures du Norfolk. It was originally scheduled to be the third round of the championship, and was due to take place at Snetterton on that weekend.

The MSV Track Day Trophy and its Supercup series will host races on the Saturday before the headline Enduroka event.

MSVR’S Stuart Garland said that he was hoping that the Enduroka series should provide a full grid. “It has been a difficult start to the year for everyone, but it is great that we can get going again. Going straight into a 12-hour race is going to be pretty full-on for the Enduroka racers, but a great way to get going.”

Fans will not be allowed into the venue for the event as circuit bosses adhere strictly to guidelines. A statement from Motorsport Vision, which operates Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton, said: “We have worked with Motorsport UK to establish appropriate measures to enable racing to resume safely and will, of course, fully comply with those when we resume, along with any government guidance in place. Further information will be communicated in due course.

“It is not yet known when we will be able to allow spectators into race meetings.”
