Autumn’s Magic
Wrap up and head outside for some exhilarating turn-of-the-season experiences!
SEASONAL PLEASURES
Woodland walks, bat hunting and foraging for fruit – just some of the wonderful, natural activities that this season brings. Autumnal walks are some of the most colourful of the entire year in the UK with shades of copper, red and burnt orange a true spectacle across parks and woodlands, and what better than to get amongst it all? It’s by far the best time to get outdoors, with fresh weather and dry crisp days, to explore with the family and create unforgettable memories. If you haven’t waded into a giant pile of extra crunchy leaves and kicked them high in the sky then you haven’t lived a true autumnal day yet! This autumn, make sure you take a trip to some of the wonderful National Trust locations across the
country, with every visit you make ake contributing towards the conservation charity’s care for special places for years to come. Support local wildlife and head to Sticklebarn and the Langdales, Lake District, for some expert bat hunting. You’ll be joined by a knowledgeable National Trust ranger and later enjoy snacks around an open fire.
