Give To Charity Without Cash

-

If you want to give to charity but money’s tight, here’s how to give a little bit more…

Buy a new laptop and there’s always the problem of what to do with the old one, especially if it has personal details on it. Computers 4 Africa need old computers and will erase the data for you too. Contact WWW.COMPUTERS4AFRICA.ORG.UK

Booking a table in your favourite restaurant? Use booking site WWW.CHARITABLEBOOKINGS.ORG which donates £1 a time to your favourite charity for each person at the table. Use the website or app to book at over 5,500 restaurants across the UK, from Cornwall to Edinburgh and Swansea to Southampton. There are more than 7,500 charities listed on the site which includes many of the smaller ones and not just the big name charities.

Companies can use the site too, so if you’re thinking of booking your work Christmas party, it can be a great way to give your favourite charity a boost too!

Boost the value of what you give by taking unwanted items to charity shops rather than dumping them in charity bins in supermarket car parks. If you donate an item of M&S clothing to Oxfam, you’ll get a £5 voucher to use against future M&S purchases of £35 or more.

Buy charity Christmas cards – around the same price as standard boxes and most high street stores stock them. Check the box to see how much is being donated and where the money is going.
