Can you believe this royal romance started more than 13 years ago? Kate and William met when they were studying at St Andrews University in Scotland, and got to know each other away from the spotlight.

By the time they graduated in 2005, the pair were officially an item, much to the country’s delight. Following a brief split in 2007, the royal lovebirds realised they only had eyes for each other and their engagement was announced in 2010.

There was the fairytale wedding the following year and since then, the couple have extended their family and now have Prince George and Princess Charlotte to keep them busy – but their affection for each other is clear to see.
