FUNNY YOGA
Looking for a new hobby? Why not try Laughter Yoga? Originally from India, it is fast gaining popularity across the UK. Participants practice different physical exercises and breathing techniques, and create forced laughter, which usually transforms into real giggling. “I began Laughter Yoga after 3 years of depression and I was laughing in the first session,” recalls Sussex-based Laughter Yoga teacher Lisa Sturge ( LAUGHTERLINESCOACHING.CO.UK), and author of Laugh (£7.99; Quadrille; published on 4 May). “We might lose touch with laughing, but if we’re willing, we can learn to laugh again.”
