As pin-off from That Peter Kay Thing, the award-winning Phoenix Nights saw Peter star as wheelchair-bound club owner, Brian Potter. Thanks to the show, which ran for two seasons, trips to Asda have never been quite the same – who could forget Jerry St Clair and Alan singing about bin bags and corned beef to the tune of Men In Black?
As for that stairlift… what a laugh, especially when it took a starring role during Brian and Beverley’s night of passion. The good news is rumours have been circulating that series three may be in the offing – fingers crossed!
