Linda’s Fit As A Fiddle

-

Looking healthier and younger than ever, Linda Robson is determined not to give in to any culinary or alcoholic temptations this Christmas after shedding an incredible two stone.

Ditching the sugar and booze in favour of a healthier regime, Linda says she feels brilliant.

“My last New Year resolution was to cut out the wine and go on a sugar-free diet,” she reveals. “I wanted to get fitter. I’ve lost about two stone now and I do feel fitter for it.”

Cooking for her entire family over the Christmas period, Linda says she can’t wait to sit down with them to watch this year’s Birds special. It is, she says, a vintage episode.

“Our Christmas special is a good old-fashioned Birds episode where we are all at home together,” explains the gregarious LooseWomen star. “My character, Tracey, is thinking about downsizing and selling the house to then give some of the proceeds from it to the boys, who are struggling for money. The others aren’t happy as then they would be homeless!

“There’s so much laughter when we film this together on set. We’ve all been friends now for such a long time and we’ve formed such a bond. This special format works for us, as we just don’t have the time to do any more. Lesley is booked up with Frankenstein and Pauline is enjoying time with her family. I’ve been busy with my projects.

“This Christmas I’ve decided not to do panto as I want to spend time with my grandchildren.

“I love everything about Christmas and I always get really festive. This year has been such a great one for me.”
