FINDING A BALANCE
◆ When I’m not working I spend as much time as I can with my sevenyear-old, Rose. We bake cakes together, like my mum did with me – in fact, my earliest memory is of eating cake batter from her lemon cake.
◆ I’m very close to my parents [actors Edward Fox and Joanna David] and spend lots of time with them, and Rose, at their house in Dorset. My favourite weekends are those we spend as a family with my brother, too [actor Freddie Fox]. Mum does all the cooking and we just hang out, reading the papers and playing board games.
◆ I started writing a journal this year, thanks to Dawn French, my co-star in Delicious. She gave me her most recent book, Me. You. A Diary, which is a journal, and it’s inspired me to get writing.
