HEAD TO… PORTMEIRION VILLAGE
The Italianate village of Portmeirion was the vision of architect Sir Clough WilliamsEllis and nestles on the banks of the Dwyryd Estuary. Wander through Riviera-inspired piazzas and beautiful Welsh woodland. The village has been used as the setting for films, music videos and TV programmes, most notably the 1960s drama series The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan.
