Everyone wants hair with endless volume that looks big and bouncy all day! First things first, for full-bodied hair, don’t shampoo every day. Your hair will style and hold better if it’s not fresh, so try keeping your hair washing to every other day. When you do wash your hair, you need the right shampoo and conditioner to do the ground work and to provide plenty of volume. My BiGGer FATTer Fuller SHaMPOO and CoNDiTiONER (both £6.99, Boots) will give body and bounce with a glossy finish.

Volume comes from the root so if you want big, bouncy volume that truly lasts, then this is the area to target. A classic trick is to flip your hair upside down and apply product directly to your roots. Try my BiG FAT RooT BooST (£6.99 Boots) specially designed with a directional nozzle to get right into your roots. Shake well before use. Lift a section of towel-dried hair and spray directly onto the root area. Repeat this process throughout the areas in which you want to create volume. Comb through, then blow dry as normal and watch the volume grow!

As well as using the right styling products to get extra volume, using the right styling tools is backcomBer (£5.99 Boots) can make all the difference taking hair from flat to fabulous. Finish with my HoLD TiGHT STRONG HoLD HAiR SPRaY (£5.99 Boots) to keep in place.

Using mousse on your freshly-washed locks is a great way to ensure a big and bouncy blow-dry that will last all day. Apply my DDoUbLE Blow MOusse (£5.99 Boots) all over damp hair to enhance your hair and then begin blow-drying.

A good technique to use when blow-drying is using a roller brush to dry then pin in place to hold the curl. Remember, heat styles and cold sets! So make sure you let your hair cool before removing the rollers for long lasting volume.

Dry shampoo is a great product to have handy throughout the day. It banishes oil that can cause hair to go limp and flat, as well as giving your hair extra texture and hold. Tip head upside down, spray onto the roots and rub in with finger tips to turn the volume up. My ORiGiNAL DRy SHaMPOO (£4.99 Boots) it great for soaking up oil, for lots of volume and no residue.
