Harewood House, West Yorkshire
A true Yorkshire gem, Harewood House is arguably at its most beautiful in the springtime months. The gardens which surround the 18th centur y stately home are transformed into a riot of colour as the spring bulbs bust into life and the stunning rhododendron bushes bloom.
The circular walk around the house is particularly beautiful at this time of year and at just under five miles, it’s an easy walk. After you’ve seen the lambs on Cote Hill, the cheer y trees blooming in Piper Wood and the vibrant swathes of Bluebells, you’ll certainly have a spring in your step. The house and gardens re-open for the summer season on March 23
