Set The Scene

You might not be relaxing by a pool and sipping your favourite cocktail, but you can still set the holiday scene in your garden. If you plan to spend lots of time outdoors, it’s worth investing in a decent-sized comfy lounger so you can properly relax – and the best part of holidaying in your garden is you won’t need to get up early to claim your place! If you have a paddling pool somewhere, dig it out. It won’t quite compete with a dip in the Mediterranean but needs must! Don’t forget lighting – almost any setting can be brightened with a string of sparkling fairy lights and lots of supermarkets sell these in summer time, if you don’t already own some. Instead of turning on your normal radio station, why not sort out a summer holiday playlist full of tunes to put you in the holiday mood?
