Choose a park and maintain social distance and try to have a light-hearted exchange about how you are both coping. If it goes well and is risk free, your daughter may choose to bring her daughter the next time. Respect her position and move forward slowly. She is entitled to want to protect her family as you are there to protect yours. I’m sure both you and she are rightly proud of your husband’s work.
