Message to support Beenham Wood

VOLUNTEERS working to conserve Greyfield Wood in Beenham have requested the public’s support via messages on Facebook as they prepare a post-lockdown fundraising campaign.

The maintenance team, led by Ian Johnson, intend to use these in appeals to donors. In a Facebook post, the group says: “The team that look after Greyfield Wood will be doing some fundraising in the near future.

“The money will be used in the next stage of consolidating the wood as an amenity for the local community.

“The support of the village will be important to organisations that provide donations to worthy causes.”
