Spate of theft and damage reported to police

WEST Berkshire villages were hit by reports of theft and criminal damage between Saturday, March 27, and Tuesday, March 30.

Police have not indicated that any of the incidents are related.

Between 8pm on Saturday March 27, and 9am on Sunday, March 28, the front window of a Renault Clio was smashed in Beechcroft, Hampstead Norreys.

Between Saturday, March 27, and Tuesday, March 30, lead was stolen from a porch in High Street, Theale.

Another vehicle crime was reported in Bourne Road, Pangbourne, and is believed to have taken place between Sunday, March 28, and Tuesday, March 30.

In this incident, a rear bumper was stolen from an unspecifie­d vehicle.

Police are seeking leads, and the relevant 101 reference number is 4321013335­6.

At around 4pm on March 29, an orange and yellow bicycle was stolen in Church Street, Theale.

The 101 reference number for the bicycle theft is 4321013213­4.

The final report relates to an incident of criminal damage in Bradfield, believed to have occurred between 11pm on Monday, March 29, and 7am on Tuesday, March 30.

The offender damaged the fencing they were attempting to breach around fields in Southend Road.
