There is free entry to the exhibit, which is open every day during garden open hours, 10am to 5pm, and promises to captivate visitors with Vickers’ unique interpretation of nature.

Inspired by the stunning countryside surrounding her and enjoying taking walks in the woodlands and gardens of Rosemoor and it’s partner Clovelly Court Gardens, Vickers’s artworks beautifully capture the colours, patterns and textures found on these outings.

Vickers is no stranger to the art scene, having exhibited regularly in recent years, with the Westward Ho! and Bideford Art Society at the Burton Art Gallery in Bideford.

Before returning to live in Devon in 2016 she has exhibited with the Highworth Artists’ Society in Wiltshire and the Pure Watercolour Society in Oxfordshire.

Her portrait drawing for the NHS Heroes initiative, created during the Covid lockdown, was selected for the permanent Google Healthcare Heroes online exhibit. She has also showcased and sold work with the Bath Society of Artists at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath, Somerset in 2023.

Visitors to the exhibition can expect to be transported into a world where nature reigns supreme. Offering a refreshing perspective with her paintings, she aims to provide a sense of calm and escapism from the stresses of modern life. Whether you’re an art lover or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, the artwork is sure to leave a lasting impression.
