Min-y-Don keep the pressure on leaders
MIN-Y-DON walloped Llanfairpwll 11-1 last Saturday to move to within a point of the lead in the North Wales Coast League Division A.
Craig Richardson was top block for the Old Colwyn side at 21-4, Stephen Roberts and Graham Rogers triumphed 21-5, Gareth P Hughes 21-6, Gareth W Hughes 21-7, Wyn Williams 21-8 and Scott Todd 21-9.
Leaders Conwy A were big 10-2 winners at Denbigh, Peter Jones leading the way at 21-6.
Llanrwst A took the spoils 8-4 at
Llandudno A, Zack Williams best at 21-7 for the Rwsters, Gareth Williams excelling in a 21-5 victory for the hosts.
Rhos Park A outscored Abergele 8-4, Steve Lawley 21-4 for the winners, Dylan Prichard (21-10) best in response.
Other scores: St Asaph A 9 Bangor City 3; Beaumaris A 8 Blaenau Ffestiniog 4.
In Division B, Conwy B swept aside Mochdre Park A 10-2.
Derek Forder shone brightest for the Castlemen at 21-3, while David S Jones was an impressive 21-8 victor for Mochdre.
Scott Garner romped to a 21-1 success in Craig-y-Don’s 9-3 beating of Benllech.
Connor Fowler stood out at 21-6 in Penmaenmawr A’s 10-2 thrashing of Colwyn Bay RBL.
Eirias Park defeated Dyserth 8-4, Sue Vayro and Bob Pearce both 21-9 for the victorious team.
Rhos Park B were whipped 10-2 at new leaders Caernarfon, Ian Lawley best at 21-12.
Penrhyn New Hall A took the spoils 8-4 at Llysfaen in Division C.
Joan Smith registered an eye-catching 21-7 card for the Hall, but the best win of the match came from Llysfaen’s Christine Purnell at 21-2.
Vardre A were bearen 8-4 at home by St Asaph B, Barry Halstead 21-9 for the losing hosts.

Division D table-toppers Old Colwyn saw off Llandudno B 9-3, Julie Jones 21-6 for the triumphant team.
Penrhyn New Hall B went down 8-4 at home to Beaumaris B despite a good 21-9 return from Steve Daniels.
Ron Williams (21-8) led Mochdre Park B to a 10-2 result against Vardre B, Margaret Dickinson best for the visitors with a 21-11 scoreline.
