S short drumhead service at the War Memorial at 11am with the parade mustering near the pier gates at 10am. Static attraction­s on the promenade for all ages all day and an indoor display from the forties in the St George’s Hotel. In the evening 40s night in the St George’s Hotel witha fish and chips supper and 40s style entertainm­ent.
