VJ DAY: On Saturday August 15 the Lions Club of Llandudno in conjunction with The Llandudno Branch of the Royal British Legion will commemorate the 70th anniversary of VJ Day. S short drumhead service at the War Memorial at 11am with the parade mustering near the pier gates at 10am. Static attractions on the promenade for all ages all day and an indoor display from the forties in the St George’s Hotel. In the evening 40s night in the St George’s Hotel witha fish and chips supper and 40s style entertainment.
