Shooting: two more arrests
TWO more arrests have been made in connection with a Radford shooting earlier this month.
A teenager and a 28-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The 16-year-old was arrested in South Yorkshire after police executed a warrant on Friday afternoon.
The man was arrested in the early hours of Saturday.
The new arrests came after a gun was fired in Tennyson Street on Friday, August 3.
On Friday, four people were arrested following raids on seven homes in Radford, St Ann’s and Bulwell.
Police have been granted more time to question them and they remain in custody.
Detective Inspector Kim Binns said: “Our number one priority is to keep you safe and we are committed to working alongside the local community to disrupt and pursue these small groups of individuals that spoil the everyday lives of others. We would like to reassure the whole community that the investigation is very much on going and if you have any information please get in contact with us.”
