PLAYER RATINGS

-

ROSS FITZSIMONS: Got into a horrible mix-up with Shaun Brisley which led to Ade Azeez’s first goal, could do very little about the second. 5/10

MATT TOOTLE:

Defended diligently at right-back and did most of his best work at the back rather than going forwards. 6/10

RICHARD DUFFY:

Defended well in the first half and was the best of the centre-back duo. Scored crucial equaliser. 7/10

SHAUN BRISLEY:

Afternoon to forget as he got into a mix-up with Ross Fitzsimons and then fell asleep for the quick freekick which led to the second. 5/10

DAN JONES:

Good going forward and wound up the Cambridge fans when he was fouled in the second half. Had an okay game. 6/10

ENZIO BOLDEWIJN:

Scored a peach of a goal to open his account for the club, and was Notts’ best attacking threat. 8/10

DAVID VAUGHAN:

Could count on one hand the number of times he gave the ball away in what was a terrific demonstration of how to keep possession. 7/10

ELLIOTT HEWITT:

Worked hard in midfield although some of his distribution let him and that’s something he can improve. 6/10

NATHAN THOMAS:

Industrious performance from the winger who looked lively when coming in from the right-hand side. 6/10

KANE HEMMINGS:

His best work came outside the box and he was unfortunate in the second half when he appeared to be held back by Darling. 6/10

JON STEAD:

Had a couple of gilt-edged chances that on another day he perhaps could have scored from. 6/10
