PLAYER RATINGS

-

COSTEL PANTILIMON:

Forced into making a good early save to deny Yakou Meite. Made a smart save second half under his bar from Bodvarsson. Didn’t have a huge amount to do. 6/10

TOBIAS FIGUEIREDO:

Was called on probably more than he’d liked to have been. A resolute display and he could have had himself a goal. 7/10

DANNY FOX

Reading were a force going forward, and he had to be strong throughout. Had the fans chanting about him. Deservedly man of the match. 8/10

BEN OSBORN:

Picked out Dias with a lovely ball right at the end of the first half then nearly fashioned a chance for Lolley in the second. 7/10

TENDAY DARIKWA:

Knows he has to be on his ‘A’ game following the arrival of Sam Byram and again produced an entirely competent performance.

7/10

JACK COLBACK:

Tidy and efficient. Mopped up a lot of balls in the middle of the park. It was another good outing. Seems to be forming a nice understanding with Guedioura.

7/10

ADLENE GUEDIOURA

Wasn’t nearly as effective as he was on Tuesday night, though there was no less effort from the Algerian international. Tried his best to get Forest playing on the front foot. 7/10

GIL DIAS:

Lively opening half, picked out by Osborn with a wonderful pass right on to his boot only to see him lose his footing at the last minute. Grew a tad frustrated with things. 6/10

JOAO CARVALHO:

The game largely passed the youngster by barring a couple of nice touches. He will need time to adjust to life in England and at this level. 5/10

JOE LOLLEY:

Was all over the park in the first half, and his fine piece of skill almost fashioned a chance on the edge of the box. 7/10

LEWIS GRABBAN:

Could have put his side in front only to see his effort smartly foiled by Vito Mannone. 7/10
