Successful firm backing young people’s efforts

-

THE Nottingham Post Sports Awards lands at The East Midlands Conference Centre on Thursday October 25.

Bringing bags of support and plenty of networking opportunities are the category sponsors who are on-hand to present the awards to 15 lucky winners.

Bridgeway Consulting Ltd is one such business who has recently confirmed their sponsorship of the Under 19 Team of the Year category.

Formed in 1995, the business provides a multi-disciplinary engineering portfolio of services, working on small, medium and large engineering projects across the UK and internationally.

Multi-award winners, the business has the 2017 The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Sustainable Development to its name, has been featured in the London Stock Exchange’s Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in both 2016 and 2017, well as being in Nottinghamshire’s Top 200 Companies in both 2016 and 2017.

Helping bring this same level of award achievement to the sporting stars of the region, Bridgeway Consulting Ltd are throwing their weight behind the under-19 teams who have been putting their stamp on the region’s sporting community.

The category focuses its attention on a school, college or youth team which has demonstrated a successful balance between academic and sporting success.

Tom Foster, Business Development Specialist at Bridgeway Consulting Ltd, was on-hand to comment on the business’ involvement with this category:

“The most important part about this category for us, is that it is putting the spotlight on a team of young people who are paving the way for others to follow.

“So often, in the digital age we are living in, it’s so easy for young people to neglect an active lifestyle in pursuit of the latest video game, or television show. The teams in this category are fantastic role models for people their age as they are spending their time in between studies furthering their school or college’s sporting team, and often spending their weekends competing away from home.

“We are very much looking forward to singing the winning team’s praises on the night and awarding them with the accolade they so greatly deserve.”

Sponsoring the Nottingham Post Sports Awards is another string to Bridgeway Consulting Ltd’s bow when it comes to sponsorship, as Tom Foster, business development specialist explained:

“Bridgeway Consulting Limited are heavily involved in the Nottingham sporting community and we’re always proud to be able to give something back to the city wherever possible. As a business we often have teams from our workforce entering local sporting events, including the renowned Robin Hood Marathon.

“As well as encouraging charity work among our staff, we as a business are also committed to ensuring clubs and teams in the region are thriving - we do this through sponsorship. The teams we currently sponsor include: The Nottingham Moderns RFC, West Bridgford Tennis Centre, Nottingham Medics RUFC and the Calverton All Whites U8’s Football Team.”
