Where does China U-turn leave us?

SO Trump claims credit for the UK’S change of Huawei policy. So where’s our sovereignty now? Did we ever have it? Who really lost it? Does anyone really believe state secrets are that vulnerable? We have a very irresponsible government if they are – ten years in office and it takes an American halfwit to put them right?
