PLAYER RATINGS

-

BRICE SAMBA

Not really a lot he could do about either of the goals and didn’t have too many saves to make aside from that. Rating: 7/10

CARL JENKINSON

Had his work cut out as Swansea really utilised their left flank. Grew into the game and started to venture forward more. Rating: 7/10

TOBIAS FIGUEIREDO

Not his usual calm self. Seemed to lose his head a bit and might well have been lucky to avoid a second booking after a first half yellow left him walking a tightrope. Rating: 6/10

JOE WORRALL

Andre Ayew certainly proved a handful but by and large the centre-back kept him at bay. Rating: 7/10

YURI RIBEIRO

Rarely has a bad game does the Portuguese. No disservice to say he was as solid, composed and efficient with the ball as ever. Some lovely passes. Rating: 8/10

BEN WATSON

The skipper led from the front and tried to bring a bit of composure when the game got a little heated. Plays such a key role. Rating: 8/10

SAMMY AMEOBI

Two absolute stunners. Twice dug his team out of a hole with a couple of belting individual strikes. A class – and crucial – performance. A shame there wasn’t a full house to give him a standing ovation. Rating: 9/10

SAMBA SOW

Relished a physical battle in the middle of the park and covered a heck of a lot of ground. Tried to add a bit of impetus going forward, too. Rating: 7/10

RYAN YATES

Can certainly feel hard done by for the penalty given against him. Can’t question his commitment. Rating: 7/10

NUNO DA COSTA

Once again showed some delightful touches and pieces of skill. If he can just work on the end product, he’ll be a real handful for opposition defences. Rating: 7/10

LEWIS GRABBAN

You’ll struggle to find a striker who works as hard in the Championship. Didn’t get a chance to add to his tally but he’ll always give his all. Rating: 7/10
