When will they stop demanding money?

-

AS it been stated that just not Nottingham but Nottinghamshire has to adhere to Tier Two of the threetier system, in respect to restrictions, of which as soon as its mentioned the three MPS and the city council are demanding money – but what could the city council have done with the millions it’s lost through the years. Already the likes of David Mellen and Nadia Whittome have stepped up on the podium to demand more assistance and throw unsubstantiated claims, but how much of the funding actually gets to the front line?

Poor Mr Iles of Newark seems to think everything the Government does should be on a knee-jerk basis and be achieved like a miracle, rather than getting a better overview of the situation and the facts, rather than emotions. I know we live in app world, where it’s deemed problems can be resolved at the press of the icon, but that is not the real world. Ask James Dyson if his first invention did not encounter a few problems in its development.

What was David Mellen doing about the hordes of students who deemed it was their right to pursue refresher activities in the city, or those who ignored wearing a mask on the buses. Surely not 80 percent of Nottingham have respiratory problem, along with marches and protestors, and those who ignore the restrictions in respect to illegal parties held, with only one person being seriously fined.

With the city council over £1 billion in debt and two failed projects, namely the Robin Hood Energy and the Broadmarsh, he does not exactly instil confidence or leadership. What does the future hold for trams, with reduced WPL? Then we had the fiasco involving MP Nadia Whittome who made accusations about a nursing home that she volunteered to assist, of which we have to ask why so far away from her constituency, when her area has quite a large nursing homes?
