‘We are proud of all of our emergency services and their effort and hard work’
THE best of Nottinghamshire’s Emergency Services personnel will be celebrated at a special award ceremony on Tuesday.
Special members of the police force, ambulance service, air rescue and fire service, who have gone the extra mile in their duties, will be up for the Emergency Services Award at the Nottinghamshirelive Heroes 2020 event.
Only one winner will walk away with the sought-after prize at the live ceremony, scheduled to take place live on the Post’s website on November 10 at 7pm.
The winners in nine other hotly contested categories will be determined on the night, too, with awards acknowledging good neighbours, environmental champions and more. T&S Heating are the sponsors of this year’s Emergency Services awards. The business has been serving the East Midlands with bespoke heating and plumbing services since 1974, providing jobs for more than 100 people in the region.
The COVID-19 pandemic has meant our emergency services are under more strain than ever, and the T&S Heating team are proud of how our region’s best have pulled together in the face of these challenges.
Finance director Saeed Rafique said: “We are supporting the awards because of how proud we are of all our emergency services and the great effort and hard work they are putting in during these difficult and trying times.”
Director Robert Bluff added: “Their composure and professionalism out in the field is beyond exemplary and we applaud everyone in this sector.”
The virtual awards ceremony – hosted by Mark Dennison – will be streamed live on Nottinghamshire-Live. Special guests and prize giveaways will make the ceremony even more exciting for everyone in the community.
