THE chances of being able to go out for Christmas Day dinner are looking very remote but a Nottingham chef has just the answer - a restaurant-standard festive blowout delivered to your door.

The typical turkey feast as a home delivery would set food lovers back at least £100 - but this unbeatable offer is just £27 for two or £70 for six.

And if Granny is keeping away to avoid catching the virus, she can have a single portion, costing £14.45, delivered to her home.

There’s no preparation, no waste - just 25 minutes warming through in the oven and, hey presto, dinner is served.

James Crossman, the executive chef at two of the city’s most popular restaurants, is helping to remove the hassle of slaving over a hot stove on December 25 by creating a two-course dinner with turkey or a veggie alternative.

James, who oversees Paris, in High Pavement, and Petit Paris, in Kings Walk, said: “We are excited to be able to offer an affordable and restaurantquality Christmas dinner service for our customers from the comfort of their own home.

“The meals are designed to be reheated in the oven, and delivered just a few days before the big day.

“By ordering from us you remove the stress of cooking on Christmas Day and help support a local, independent business.”

Throughout the pandemic, the restaurants’ At Home delivery service of delicious comfort food has proved a lifeline for the business, said James.

The Christmas dinner box includes a turkey crown in a rich red wine gravy, with all the trimmings of cranberry and sage stuffing, pigs in blankets, roasted smoked bacon new potatoes, honey and thyme roasted root vegetables, cauliflower cheese and mulled red cabbage with redcurrants, apple and cinnamon.

The vegetarian alternative is butternut squash and wild mushroom wellington with maple glazed parsnips, winter greens and rosemary-infused vegetarian gravy.

For afters there’s a choice of traditional Christmas pudding with cognac cream or praline yule log.

The deadline for orders is December 18. Delivery dates are December 22 and 23 with afternoon and evening time slots available.
