PLAYER RATINGS

-

BRICE SAMBA

Could do nothing for the opening goal, a mishandle in the second half could have caused Forest problems. 6/10

CYRUS CHRISTIE

Made some good attacking moves, but the quality of his ball into the box was poor. The cross for Swansea’s opening goal also came from his side. 5/10

TOBIAS FIGUEIREDO

Andre Ayew’s movement caused some trouble for both defenders in the first-half, but there weren’t any standout errors. Good tackle in the second half to deny a dangerous Swansea move. 6/10

SCOTT MCKENNA

As above, limited Swansea to halfchances in the first half up until the opening goal. Made a good tackle to stop a dangerous Swansea break in the second half. Was Forest’s best defender. 7/10

YURI RIBEIRO

Needlessly put the ball out for a Swansea throw when he miskicked a backpass, but not too many attacks came down his side. 5/10

JACK COLBACK

Was tidy in possession but didn’t do anything spectacular, was replaced just before half-time after picking up an injury. 4/10

RYAN YATES

Worked hard but struggled to stamp his authority on the game in the middle of the pitch. 6/10

SAMMY AMEOBI

Was beaten in the air for Swansea’s opening goal. He did well for an early Lyle Taylor chance but was sloppy in possession. Made a great run in the second half which came to nothing. 5/10

ANTHONY KNOCKAERT

Looked bright and eager to be involved in the early part of the game but gave away position a few times. Had a great chance to put Forest ahead before half time after

a great run and caused Swansea problems on the break in the second half. 7/10

MIGUEL GUERRERO

Had a bright opening few minute, but was pretty anonymous for the rest of the game before being replaced by Lolley in the second half. Like many of Forest’s attackers lacked that bit of quality needed to really open Swansea up. 5/10

LYLE TAYLOR

Worked hard and gave Swansea’s back line something to think about. Had a couple of openings that he failed to take advantage of. 7/10

SUBSTITUTES

HARRY ARTER (FOR COLBACK 36’)

Failed to have too much impact on the game.

JOE LOLLEY (FOR GURRERO 53’)

Like Arter, failed to have much of an impact on the attacking performance as Forest searched for an equaliser.

WILL SWAN (FOR AMEOBI 75’)

Made a good couple of runs but didn’t really have long enough to show what he can do.

SUBS NOT USED

Mbe Soh, Smith, Jenkinson, Mighten, Ribeiro Dias, Ioannou.
